Hegemony
I have seen artists reproduce creations work on canvas
And make lesser mortals trials look like trash.
I have heard orchestras guided by keys and strings
Challenge the great melody of hymns that angels sing. I have seen sculptors carve monuments from clay and stones
That left men startled and spellbound.
I have read many epic works of poets
And marvel at their deep immortal depth.
I have watched dancers move to dulcet beats and rhythm
To create curves and patterns with their agile beings
But although enthralled by such great wonders in these fields
None can ever match your great appeal.
